documentation is one of the major existential pillars of human history. humans
have came up with approaches in order to record, maintain and passing on
information and experiences. recording images and and writings such as graffiti and
human kind’s residential places dating back to 40thousand years ago have
emerged from the thirst for recording in history. this will lead to the emergence of
imagination. collective memories are the product of archetype mental imaging. the
presence of archetype besides cultures will lead to symbols and by elaborating
these symbols mythical figures will emerge. during this imagination process one
thing is constant and that is the ability to record, save and maintain during history.
it could be safely said that by recording the collective memories past and future of
human history would be constructed .
“Chonin” artistical group have been basically founded in the field of documentation
of vision’s culture and believe that documenting based on painting elaboration is a
thoughtful reality. as the artist utilizes the real world concepts and incorporate
them into his/her art work, consequently the art will represent the real world in
the eye of the beholder. therefore documentation could represent a second reality.
we categorically believe that mediation of a documentary is not necessarily limited
to the film maker; intervention and mechanisms of audience’s mind also
represents partially, the background of the artwork. vision constitutes of
inclination, believes and relationships amongst the visual subjects.
The Key role of human mediation, which is a source of imagination in the
production of documentaries, is undeniable. Subsequently a particular
interpretation of reality-image relationship would cause imagination to concur the
boundaries and limitations of genres e.g documentary, storytelling, narrative,

The practical framework of Chonin art group lays upon conversation capability,
interaction and interdisciplinary relations of various subcategories such as
